“How to Be a Girl: Instruction Manual by The Pretenders,” will appear in a new
HarperCollins anthology. Edited by Peter Terzian, the collection includes essays
by novelists Stacey D’Erasmo (A Seahorse Year), Benjamin Kunkel (Indecision)
